Leading Arbitrators and Mediators from the American Arbitration Association® Address Emerging AI Issues in Dispute Resolution

AI Ambassador program brings together experienced neutrals to examine AI-related issues and develop practical resources for the ADR community.

NEW YORK, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Arbitration Association (AAA^®), the leading global provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services, has launched its AI Ambassador program, bringing together a select group of AAA arbitrators and mediators to examine emerging issues at the intersection of AI and dispute resolution, including the authenticity of AI-related evidence, AI hallucinations, automated commercial transactions, and algorithmic finance.

Organized into four working groups, the AI Ambassadors will collaborate to identify emerging legal and procedural issues arising from AI. The groups will develop practical resources for ADR users, counsel, and dispute resolution professionals, including articles, white papers, webinars, and other educational resources.

"AI is rapidly changing both the nature of disputes and how parties and neutrals approach the dispute resolution process," said Eric Dill, chief people officer and head of panel relations at the AAA. "As these technologies evolve, new questions will continue to emerge for parties, counsel, arbitrators, and mediators. The AI Ambassador program builds on the AAA's broader work to explore how emerging technologies are affecting disputes and dispute resolution processes. The program will also support the responsible use of AI in arbitration and mediation.
