LOS ANGELES, April 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambio (www.cambio.com), a trustworthy interactive online entertainment experience, connecting teens and young adults to their favorite celebrities and musicians, formed by AOL, MGX Lab, and the Jonas Group in 2009, has named Nathan Coyle as General Manager, a new post for the company. At Cambio, Coyle will be charged with managing all day-to-day aspects of the business, including content production, web platform development, advertising sales and operations.
"Bringing in Nathan is one of many ways AOL is reinforcing its commitment to Cambio; a project that has proven hugely successful with a wide-spanning demographic of teens, tweens, and young adults, and one which we believe will continue to rapidly flourish under Nathan's expertise," AOL CEO Tim Armstrong said on Monday.
Prior to joining Cambio, Coyle was at Hollywood's leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA), as a Business Development Agent focusing on digital content. He helped to establish new revenue models and negotiate cross-platform distribution for digital media projects, in addition to developing opportunities for corporate brands to collaborate with artists in new and effective ways through original content. Coyle has created direct relationships for a multitude of Fortune 100 brands, including Microsoft, Ford Motor Company, Kraft and Sony, with high-profile actors, producers, writers and music artists.
Cambio co-founder Keith Wortman, President of MGX Lab said, "We are very pleased to have Nathan join us as GM of Cambio. It is obvious to all of us who conceived of and created this venture that he is the ideal candidate to capitalize on the early success we have had and take it to the next level."
Coyle added, "The ways in which teens and young adults consume media and entertainment is continuing to evolve dramatically. Cambio is positioned to be on the forefront of this revolution. It is a tremendous honor for me to be joining this team, comprised of so many talented individuals and industry leaders-- I am looking forward to continuing the work they've done with Cambio.com."
