Leap, a Solana Labs Company, Launches High Performance Trading App

Built by the team behind Dialect, Leap is a new mobile app on Solana for trading tokenized stocks, ETFs, metals, currencies and crypto with an elevated experience for retail.

Leap brings tokenized stocks, ETFs, metals, currencies and crypto into one place, with market context, simple and clear execution and precise profit and loss tracking. It's available now in early access on iOS.

The Solana blockchain is designed to be the network behind internet capital markets. Leap is a front end built on that network to make onchain markets accessible to anyone, with a precise, high-quality trading experience.

Building with the Solana ecosystem

Leap works with teams across Solana to create a best in class, fully onchain trading experience. That includes Jupiter for trade routing, Helius for infrastructure and Birdeye for market data, with more partners to come. As Leap grows, it plans to give back to the network: by using future fees to buy and burn SOL and to reward users who refer friends.

The team behind Leap

The Dialect team was acquired earlier this year to build Leap, a new business under the Solana Labs umbrella. Dialect's best-known work is Solana Actions and Blinks, a protocol that turns blockchain actions into shareable links, and X's popular cashtags feature, both technologies that make crypto easier to use and more accessible.

What Leap does

• Stories moving the market. The goal is to help traders skip the noise and focus on what's moving the world and the markets. Leap's research team curates the stories that matter and marks each one on the price chart at the moment it broke.
• Markets. Tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, currencies, crypto and millions of tokens on Solana, all tradable 24 hours a day, subject to restrictions.
• Spot trading. Users enter an amount in dollars and confirm with one tap. Each trade executes as an onchain swap, with access to tokens across Solana.
• Precision Profit & Loss. Calculated from every deposit, withdrawal, trade and fees, so traders can see their real result and the breakeven price for each position.

The Founders Club

Users who join the waitlist early become members of the Leap Founders Club. Founders get a referral code and access to new features. Once fees are introduced, they are expected to earn 30% of the trading fees generated by the people they invite, plus 5% from the people those users invite.  Subject to eligibility requirements and terms - see leap.xyz.

Fees

Leap plans to use future fees to buy and burn SOL and power the referral program. Leap does not charge its own fees at launch. Network and routing costs apply and are shown before each trade.

Availability

Leap is available now on iPhone via public TestFlight, with Android coming soon. Users can join the waitlist at leap.xyz. Leap is not available in the United Kingdom and other restricted regions.
