"Restaurant & Bar Industry Training Presents - Learn everything you need to know to become a restaurant and bar industry professional"
ATLANTA, Dec. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Some Atlanta restaurant and bar industry professionals (bartenders, waiters & waitresses, cocktail servers, cooks and managers) have come together to form a very unique concept that they believe will not only improve the service industry in Atlanta, but it will also help employ more people and improve our low employment rate.
Starting on Monday, January 7th 2013, Atlanta's restaurant and bar industry professionals will aim to train well over 5,000 new people in the industry. These classes will be broken down into three separate categories from "Front of the house training" which includes a full bartending, serving, cocktailing and waitstaff training. Furthermore, the second category will be "Back of the house training", which will cover everything from basic kitchen cooking, prepping, cleanliness, pizza making and American food training and code regulations. Moreover, the final category will be "Management training", which will cover all aspects of a manager's duties from front of the house, to back of the house, to code, book keeping, ordering, budgeting, organizing, personality management and even controlling the house.
Both front of the house and back of the house training will be 40 hours of intense training over a two week span, followed by a 100 question exam. Furthermore, the management training will be 60 hours of intense training followed by a 150 question exam. "Here is the good part", when you complete the classes and pass the exam, you will be given a certificate and card that will certify you (by industry professionals who have been in the industry for well over 15 years) as an industry professional with hands on experience and training, and they will help you find a job in the industry. We guarantee you that after you complete any of these courses, you will be well qualified to do any job in the restaurant and bar industry.
There is a small fee for the classes, but it will be well worth it in the long run. You can think of it as a way to survive this economy with a second job, or actually consider a career change into this industry.
