Lecorpio Appoints Kurt F. Wedel as Head of Global Sales

FREMONT, Calif., June 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Lecorpio (www.lecorpio.com), the leader in cloud-based Intellectual Property (IP) management and analytics, today announced Kurt F. Wedel as vice president of global sales.

Wedel is the latest addition to the Lecorpio leadership team, after the recent appointments of Sunny McRae as vice president of engineering and Mark Bullard as vice president of product management. In this newly established role, Wedel will manage Lecorpio's global sales and operations, including scaling the sales organization, onboarding customers, and expanding partnership development opportunities.

Wedel brings more than 25 years of global sales leadership and operational experience to the Lecorpio team. Prior to joining Lecorpio, he served as the vice president of sales and operations at First to File, Inc., where he built the sales and service organization, as well at the customer base, to the point where the company was acquired by CPA Global. Prior to that, Wedel was senior vice president of sales and business development at MarkMonitor and served in senior sales and marketing roles at Netscape, Oracle and Sybase.
