CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LeCroy Corporation (Nasdaq: LCRY), a leading supplier of oscilloscopes and serial data test solutions, announced that it has expanded its popular WaveAce(TM) oscilloscope product line to include 4 channel models from 60 MHz to 300 MHz and a new 2 channel, 40 MHz model. The WaveAce series is now available in 11 different models and all models offer long memory, color displays, extensive measurement capabilities, and advanced triggering. Combined with the streamlined, time-saving user interface, these features make the WaveAce oscilloscopes the ideal tools for affordable design, debug and troubleshooting from 40 MHz to 300 MHz.
"The class-leading specifications and competitive pricing of our new WaveAce scopes strengthen LeCroy's presence in the low-end oscilloscope market," said LeCroy President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Reslewic. "The WaveAce was our first entry into the sizeable economy space and has been well received by our customers. With the support of our solid distribution partnerships, LeCroy will now address a much larger segment of that market."
The new models provide all the same specifications, features, functions and tools of the original series. In addition, the 4 channel models provide 10 kpts/ch memory and up to 2 GS/s sample rate; the 40 MHz model provides 4 kpts/ch and a sample rate of up to 500 MS/s. With USB host and device ports, plus a LAN connection, the WaveAce oscilloscopes easily connect to a memory stick, PC or printer for saving data. With 32 built-in automated parameters, including advanced timing parameters for skew, phase and edge-to-edge measurements between channels, the WaveAce oscilloscope broadens the ways a user can understand and analyze waveforms.
