LeCroy Receives Top Honors at DesignCon 2011

CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. and SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LeCroy Corporation (Nasdaq: LCRY), a leading supplier of oscilloscopes and serial data test solutions, today announced that its 45 GHz WaveMaster 845 Zi-A oscilloscope was the winner of the annual DesignVision Award presented by UBM Electronics in the Test and Measurement Equipment category at DesignCon 2011.  The WaveMaster 845 Zi-A, the world's highest bandwidth real-time oscilloscope, was selected based on market vision, originality of solution, and quality of implementation.

LeCroy received further recognition for its innovation and expertise with its SPARQ Signal Integrity Network Analyzer, which also was a DesignVision Award finalist.  In addition, the technical presentation, "Wavelet Denoising For TDR Dynamic Range Improvement," authored by Peter J. Pupalaikis, LeCroy Vice President and Principal Technologist has been selected as a best paper finalist.
