SUMMARY NOTICE OF CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT

TO:      ALL PERSONS WHO PURCHASED AMERICAN DEPOSITORY SHARES OF YINGLI GREEN ENERGY HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED DURING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 2, 2010 THROUGH MAY 15, 2015, INCLUSIVE.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, pursuant to an Order of the United States District Court for the Central District of California, that a hearing will be held on December 10, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 5D before the Honorable Otis D. Wright II, United States District Judge of the Central District of California, 350 W. First Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012, 5th Floor (the "Settlement Hearing") for the purpose of determining:  (1) whether the proposed Settlement consisting of the sum of $1,200,000 in cash should be approved by the Court as fair, reasonable, and adequate; (2) whether the proposed plan to distribute the settlement proceeds is fair and reasonable; (3) whether the application for an award of attorneys' fees of 25% of the Settlement Fund ($300,000 in cash) and reimbursement of expenses of not more than $100,000, as well as an award to Plaintiffs of not more than $18,000, should be approved; and (4) whether the Litigation should be dismissed with prejudice with respect to the Released Parties.

If you purchased Yingli American Depository Shares during the class period from December 2, 2010 through May 15, 2015, inclusive, your rights may be affected by the Settlement of this action.  If you have not received a Postcard Notice providing information on how to review the Internet Notice of Pendency and Settlement of Class Action and obtain a copy of the Proof of Claim and Release Form, you may obtain copies by writing to Yingli Securities Litigation c/o RG/2 Claims Administration LLC (Tel: 866-742-4955); (Fax: 215-979-1695); (email: [email protected]), or going to the website, www.rg2claims.com/Yingli.html, where you can also view and print these documents.  If you are a member of the Class, in order to share in the distribution of the Net Settlement Fund, you must submit a Proof of Claim and Release no later than December 8, 2018, establishing that you are entitled to recovery to the Claims Administrator.  Unless you submit a written exclusion request, you will be bound by any judgment rendered in the Litigation whether or not you make a claim.  If you desire to be excluded from the Class, you must submit a request for exclusion to the Claims Administrator, postmarked no later than November 20, 2018, in the manner and form explained in the detailed Internet Notice of Pendency and Settlement of Class Action.

Any objection to the Settlement, Plan of Allocation, or Plaintiffs' Counsel's request for an award of attorneys' fees and reimbursement of expenses must be in the manner and form explained in the detailed Internet Notice of Pendency and Settlement of Class Action and postmarked no later than November 20, 2018, to each of the following:
