Legendary Football Star Zanetti Joins Linda Wong, Chairwoman of Yihai Group to Launch a Joint Soccer Training Program Between Inter Milan and Yihai in Beijing

BEIJING, May 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Argentine soccer star Zanetti, who recently retired from Inter Milan Club, was joined by Linda Wong, a pioneer in the creation of community education based within her real estate developments in China, to launch the new Inter Academy Yihai, a soccer-training program for boys and girls in China.

Zanetti currently serves as the vice president of Inter Milan Club and was instrumental in forming the Inter Milan Academy.  

The announcement was made on a campus affiliated with Yihai Education Group (http://www.yihaiedu.cn/) in Beijing.  Ms. Wong noted that Yihai is dedicated to multi-dimensional and diversified approaches to foster the intellectual and physical development of their students. "With the professional training system of Inter Milan, children can improve their fitness, develop healthy daily practice, enjoy soccer and the most important, build a more positive attitude and value towards their life," said Wong.

More than 5,000 students from 30 schools will be admitted to the new Inter Academy Yihai. In addition, there will be a training program for coaches and career planning offered to retired athletes. Through an exchange program, 20 Chinese students will be part of a professional training course in Milan where the Inter Academy is headquartered.  Both Inter Milan Academy and Yihai Education Group anticipate that Inter Academy Yihai will be instrumental to the future success of the soccer industry in China.

Zanetti is world renowned for his career with both the Argentine National Team, where he participated in two World Cup games, as well as his 20 years with Inter Milan winning multiple Italian Championships.
