Leventhal Law Launches Business, Transactional Practice Areas With Of Counsel Hire

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Leventhal Law, a law firm focused on a business-minded approach to complex business and litigation matters, today announced that it has expanded its practice areas to include business and transactional law with the hire of Nicole S. Blakely as Of Counsel. The hire enables Leventhal Law to provide full-service legal counsel and strategy to its rapidly growing client base across all aspects of their formation and growth.

Blakely joins Leventhal Law from Avalon Capital Group, Inc., the billion dollar private investment company of Gateway co-founder, Ted Waitt, where she served as General Counsel and Vice President for nearly eight years. At Avalon Capital Group, she was responsible for corporate compliance, contract drafting and negotiations, investor relations, private equity structure and negotiations, real estate acquisitions, legal strategy and planning, litigation management and providing counsel to the Board of Directors and other executive management.

Blakely was previously in private practice for nearly a decade, focusing on business litigation and transactional law.
