NEW YORK, June 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Levy Konigsberg has filed a lawsuit on behalf of eleven survivors of sexual abuse against Camden County, which operates the Camden County Youth Detention Center also known as Lakeland alleging that the County failed to protect children from rampant sexual abuse perpetrated by adult employees at Camden County Youth Detention Center. The lawsuit, brought on behalf of eleven individuals who were abused as children at Camden County Youth Detention Center, is the latest in a string of residential treatment center sex abuse lawsuits spearheaded by Levy Konigsberg.

Despite the widespread and well-known sexual abuse of children at Camden County Youth Detention Center, little has been done to protect these children or to punish their abusers. It is this pattern of negligence on the part of Camden County that has prompted the filing of these lawsuits.
