Liberty Power Officially Opens Applications for 5th Annual Liberty Power Bright Horizons Scholarship Awards
In collaboration with the USHCC Foundation scholarship program to award three college students a combined $20,000 for education
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Liberty Power, the nation's largest owner-operated retail electricity provider, together with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) Foundation are proud to announce the 5th Annual Bright Horizons Scholarship.
The Bright Horizons Scholarship is an opportunity for college students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) with an interest in the fields of energy or the environment.

Since its inception, the Bright Horizons Scholarship has awarded a total of $80,000 to 13 college students. This year, the program will award a total of $20,000 to 3 scholarship winners in values of $10,000, $6,000, and $4,000. Winners of the 2017 Bright Horizons Scholarship will be announced at the USHCC National Convention on October 1-3 in Dallas, Texas.

Students who are currently studying STEM at an accredited two or four-year university with an interest in the fields of energy or the environment are encouraged to apply by July 30, 2017.
