LifeSpan medicine Announces Launch of "LifeSpan Healthy Kids Program"
Wellness Program Helps Children Develop Healthy Lifestyles to Reach Full Potential
SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LifeSpan medicine is excited to announce the launch of the LifeSpan Healthy Kids Program. There is nothing more important to a lifespan of health than a good start. Who would not want to have a better, healthier childhood for their kids than they themselves had?
LifeSpan medicine now offers an opportunity for parents and kids to grow and develop to full potential.
LifeSpan Healthy Kids Program is an integrative, pediatric medicine program focusing on the health and wellness of your child. The LifeSpan Healthy Kids Program advises parents and children between the ages of birth and eighteen on wellness and healthy development medicine programs. Our program provides general pediatric wellness care, vaccines, vaccine counseling, and well-child visits. Our program will also address children's symptomatic concerns such as chronic abdominal pain, reflux/vomiting, ADD/ADHD, skin issues, allergies, heavy metal/environmental toxicity and headaches. We advise parents on gaining optimal health and development for their children. We also address children with difficult and complex problems by adding complementary aspects of care including nutrition, natural medicine and homeopathy to their conventional, pharmaceutical based programs. Our doctors know when to use conventional treatments such as pharmaceuticals and when to use integrative methods such as supplements and homeopathy to achieve the best outcome for children. The LifeSpan Healthy Kids Program is committed to helping kids grow into healthy adolescents and adults, and develop to their full potential.
Our LifeSpan Healthy Kids Program is lead by Dr. Pejman Katiraei. Dr. Katiraei is a board certified pediatrician who practices integrative and functional medicine for kids. He is a graduate of UCLA, completed his pediatric residency at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital and a fellowship in integrative medicine under the direction of Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona. Dr. Katiraei is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Loma Linda University School of Medicine and in 2007 founded the Loma Linda University Pediatric Wholistic Medicine Clinic, for which he is still the Medical Director. Dr Katiraei now leads the LifeSpan Healthy Kids Program at LifeSpan medicine in Santa Monica, CA.
