Light Reading Publishes Alcatel-Lucent's 100GbE Performance Results

Why Test?

As more vendors deploy the first generation of 100Gigabit Ethernet (100GbE) interfaces for their flagship routers, EANTC and Light Reading have set up a public test program aimed at providing operators with an unbiased, empirical view of these new interfaces. This provides vendors with a unique opportunity for differentiation and also offers operators a benchmark to use when evaluating vendors. As with other recent tests, this program is one that other media providers in the telecom industry don't have the time, resources, staff or skills to produce.
