Lighting Industry Professional, John Campsmith, joins FSG

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Facility Solutions Group announces the hiring of John Campsmith as the Austin Area Sales and Marketing Director.

Sam Smith, FSG Austin General Manager, announced today that John Campsmith has accepted the Sales and Marketing Director position for the growing Austin market. Mr. Campsmith's industry experience spans more than 20 years with several Executive and Sr. Management roles.  John brings a wealth of knowledge and relationships from all aspects of the lighting industry.  Previous roles have included: EVP of Sales and Marketing with Cooledge Lighting; General Manager of Philips Wide-Lite, Exceline, Quality Lighting, Translite Sonoma; as well as sales management roles for Lightolier, Osram Sylvania and Holophane.

John received a BA from Stephen F. Austin and a MBA from St. Mary's.   John and is wife Debbie live in the greater Austin, TX area with their three active children. 

John will report to Sam Smith and lead the sales and marketing efforts to expand FSG's position and market share within the Austin market.  He will be responsible for market strategy, product selection, pricing methodology as well the company positioning and service offering for FSG'S contracting division.
