Lincoln International Hires Aamit Joshi as Managing Director

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lincoln International, a leading independent global mid-market investment bank, announced today that it has hired Aamit Joshi as a Managing Director in its Mumbai office.  Mr. Joshi will focus on the origination and execution of merger and acquisition transactions in the consumer and chemicals sectors.  Mr. Joshi will work closely with the respective global teams to build the Lincoln International franchise in these industry verticals.

Mr. Joshi joins Lincoln International from Ambit Corporate Finance ("Ambit"), Mumbai where he was responsible for the coverage and execution of transactions in the chemicals, consumer and packaging sectors.  Prior to his time at Ambit, Mr. Joshi was part of the M&A team at Dresdner Kleinwort in London, where his responsibilities included covering the European markets in chemicals and packaging and later building the India business in the chemicals and consumer sectors.  Mr. Joshi began his career at Reliance Industries Ltd. in India after completing his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Gujarat University.  Mr. Joshi also has an MBA from India and a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
