Lincoln International represents Centre Lane Partners in its sale of Shemin Landscape Supply to John Deere Landscapes

CHICAGO, March 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lincoln International LLC ("Lincoln International"), a leading global middle market investment bank, is pleased to announce that Centre Lane Partners ("CLP") has sold Shemin Landscape Supply ("Shemin" or the "Company") to John Deere Landscapes ("JDL"), a portfolio company of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Shemin is a leading distributor and wholesaler of horticultural and landscape products to landscape professionals. It offers nursery stock ranging from woody ornamentals to annuals, perennials, specimens and groundcovers. The Company also provides commercial-grade tools, grass seeds, mulches, fertilizers, pesticides, stone and paver products, landscape irrigation and lighting products and pottery. Shemin operates 29 supply centers nationwide and is headquartered in Danbury, CT.

Lincoln International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to CLP and Shemin, working closely with the Company's shareholders and senior management team throughout the sale process. The New York-based private equity firm acquired Sure Fit, Inc. as an add-on to its Focus Products Group International, LLC portfolio company in 2013, STACI Corporation as a new platform in 2014 and then EPM Global Services, Inc. as an add-on to STACI Corporation in 2014. All three transactions resulted from Lincoln International processes.
