Lincoln, ESSENCE Magazine, Honoree Janelle Monae and special guest GRAMMY-nominated Big Boi of OutKast joined by Prince, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Musiq Soulchild, Perri "Pebbles" Reid and many more.

WHAT:

Lincoln partnered with ESSENCE magazine for the second year as the exclusive automotive sponsor of the ESSENCE Black Women in Music event during 2011 GRAMMY® Week. The evening included Honoree Janelle Monae and special guest GRAMMY-nominated Big Boi of OutKast arriving in the 2011 Lincoln MKX crossover.

Lincoln will also be included in an in-book event recap story both inside ESSENCE magazine and online at www.essence.com.

ESSENCE honored Janelle Monae at the 2nd Annual ESSENCE Black Women in Music event during 2011 GRAMMY® Week. The evening featured an exclusive performance by Monae, who performed four songs.
