LISTA® and Vidmar® To Provide Exclusive Preview of Virtual Reality 3D Visual Planning Software Program at IMTS 2018

TOWSON, Md., Sept. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- LISTA^® and Vidmar^®, Stanley Black & Decker Storage Solutions brands, are excited to preview the launch of their Virtual Reality 3D Visual Planning Software at IMTS 2018. Visitors to the show will have the ability to exclusively preview it at Booth #432504. The Storage Solutions Group's booth at IMTS aims to be incredibly interactive, with product demonstrations and hands-on user demos.  

The Virtual Reality 3D Visual Planning Software allows users to design & visualize the layout of the user's own facility, fully configured with LISTA & Vidmar products and solutions. Virtual reality allows end-users to literally "walk through" their business to determine the exact storage solutions required to meet their needs. While many companies offer 3D planning software, LISTA & Vidmar have set themselves apart through its drag/drop 3D and virtual reality capabilities, with design concepts occurring in "real time." Built to be intuitive, the 3D Visual Planning Software supports small and large site plans. Users can change the layout and configuration and envision how it will fit in their own layout; a functionality once reserved for time consuming CAD renderings. Combined with a complimentary site survey evaluation provided by field sales engineers, customers can rapidly select and customize a solution tailored to individual needs and industry best practices, yielding increased productivity and space efficiency.

The Storage Solutions brands will also be showcasing its Vertical Lift Machine (VLM) and STAK System at the show. These product solutions have become synonymous with Vidmar & LISTA customizable storage options. The VLM allows users to integrate the machine and its inventory into its ERP/MRP systems, enabling data & analytics for Industry 4.0 enablement, while allowing users to store products vertically rather than taking up valuable floorspace. The STAK system, based on a system of dynamically adjustable pallets (rather than fixed shelves) and a captive lifting and handling device, helps maximize storage density by minimizing the vertical space requirements of each pallet and its contents, saving valuable floor space, time and productivity. As a further enhancement, user feedback on potential product enhancements featuring camera and laser capabilities will be reviewed for future improvements.

In addition, the Stanley Black & Decker Storage Solutions brands will be showcasing its Tall Cabinet line of customizable storage options at IMTS. This new line is an extension of the Stanley Black & Decker Storage Solutions approach to provide a taller, more robust solution to its customers. The Tall Cabinet line has been designed as the company's tallest single-housing to date, making it ideal for customers in the automotive and equipment  service industry, such as dealerships, technicians, service/parts rooms, as well as in industrial & manufacturing facilities.  The range also includes an all-welded heavy duty tall cabinet which is specifically engineered for industrial applications in manufacturing and production facilities, maintenance labs, factory engineering, and other industrial applications.
