Live events technology accelerator, LDJ Futures, announces first investment into industry disruptor Candy Lab AR

NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- LDJ Futures, the first startup accelerator for live event technology, today announces that the first investment of its Futures Innovation Fund will be Candy Lab AR.

LDJ Futures was launched in September 2017 by LDJ Productions, an innovator in global event management, production, technologies, and creative services. Their client roster includes L'Oréal, Reebok, The New York Times, Rolls-Royce, Oath (formerly Yahoo!), Fairchild Fashion Media, and WME/IMG in which they are the agency producers of New York Fashion Week.

Candy Lab AR is the first investment for LDJ Futures, and will form part of a soon-to-be-announced cohort of startups. By providing a combination of investment capital and advisory services to leading startups, LDJ Futures aims to meet the growing demand for new and innovative technologies in the live events and experiential entertainment sectors. The agency plans to offer Candy Lab's soon to launch "See Now, Buy Now" augmented reality solution to select clients for use at New York Fashion Week starting September 2018.
