Lizzie Sider Celebrates Bullying Prevention Month

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- World Trust Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit founded in 1994, announced that its youth ambassador, country singer/songwriter Lizzie Sider, will visit Life is Beautiful, a music, food, art and learning festival in Downtown Las Vegas, October 24, 25 and 26, where she will be interviewed for the Life is Beautiful HD Streaming event and record public service announcements that inspire young people to become global citizens. Currently on a national media tour, the rising star is actively promoting her anti-bullying awareness campaign, "Nobody Has the Power to Ruin Your Day®" and engaging students by asking them to answer the question, "What will you do to change the world?" in World Trust Foundation's "Your Voice, Your Choice" social media campaign.

Fully embracing and embodying the title and theme of her infectious debut single "Butterfly," 16-year-old Sider is rocking out of the gate not only as an immediate country chart sensation, but a role model and inspiration to fans of multiple generations. "Butterfly," a song about Sider's journey to overcome the teasing and bullying she experienced in elementary school, has reached Top 40 on the Music Row Country Chart. The video has received more than 1,000,000 views on YouTube.

The Life is Beautiful HD streaming event will feature select highlights of concerts, culinary demonstrations, art exhibitions and learning sessions in four vertical channels representing the pillars of the festival. Celebrity interviews and PSAs that promote global citizenship and aligned causes will also be featured throughout the streamcast. As youth ambassador of World Trust, Sider will be on hand to share personal experiences that inspired her to advocate for young people struggling with the issues like bullying that plagued her own childhood.

Designed as a fully interactive social experience, the online viewing screen will provide a social network platform where Sider's fans can share their commitment to the Your Voice campaign during the live stream for several hours on each day of the festival.

Purposed as a fundraiser to support youth empowerment initiatives, the Life is Beautiful HD Streaming Event will be available to the public on a $20 donation-per-view basis at Events.WorldTrust.org.
