Sunday, March 17th at 6:00PM, The Broad Stage will feature the superstar soprano Angela Gheorghiu in her west coast recital debut.

Dale Franzen says, "We are especially pleased with the continued support of Lloyd E. Rigler-Lawrence E. Deutsch Foundation. I have been honored to develop a unique relationship with Jamie Rigler who like myself, a former opera singer believes that the solo recital platform is the purest form of musical excellence that is perfect for intimacy of The Broad Stage."

"We are so delighted to have Ms. Gheorghiu grace our stage. The ultimate music experience for me is the purity of two instruments and/or voice moving together. It reminds us of what we as humans can accomplish," says Franzen.

"Los Angeles has always been the city of the future and the extraordinary Broad Stage confirms our belief that classic arts is thriving and alive in Santa Monica," said President of the Foundation and Executive Producer of Classic Arts Showcase Mr. Jamie Rigler. "We believe the intimacy, acoustics and beauty of The Broad makes it the ideal theater to experience these top tier international artists usually found at The Metropolitan Opera, Covent Garden, La Scala, Carnegie Hall, and the world's other great concert halls.
