IRVINE, Calif., June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- loanDepot LLC, America's consumer lender, announced today that it has been selected as one of the Top Workplaces for 2015 in Tennessee. Companies earning a spot of the Top Workplaces program were selected based solely on employee feedback received via an independent survey developed and conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, a leading research firm based in Exton, Penn. specializing in organizational health and employee engagement.
This is the first year loanDepot has been honored as on The Tennessean's Top Workplaces list. It opened its Franklin office in June 2011. More than 105 companies across central Tennessee participated in this year's competition.
Since its launch 2010, loanDepot LLC has been honored by being named to 14 superlative company lists. In 2012, 2013 and 2014, the company was named one of the Orange County Register's Top Workplaces. It made the Orange County Business Journal's Best Places to Work list in 2013; and, in 2014, was named an OCBJ Fastest-Growing Private Company. The Top Workplaces program started in 2006 with the premise that, in the most successful companies, the employees strongly believe in the organization's mission. The Tennessean implemented the program in 2013 with 50 Top Workplaces named in the region. When the award criteria were submitted in January 2015, loanDepot had 45 employees in the Nashville area, with projections to hire 25 to 30 employees in the following 12 months.
The Top Workplaces survey area included eight counties in Central Tennessee and there were 938 companies in the initial pool of entries. From there, 105 made the first cut and then 70 companies in total were identified as Top Workplaces for 2015. Those that placed top-tier in each category will be announced at an event on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. The final list will be published in a special edition of The Tennessean on Sunday, June 21.
Background information taken into account in the finalizing of the Top Workplaces positioning were number of employees in the Nashville region and the company's overall philosophies, benefits packages and community engagement programs.
