Locaid Appoints Walter Beisheim Senior Vice President-Business Development

SAN FRANCISCO and MIAMI, April 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Locaid, the world's largest Location-as-a-Service (LaaS) company, today announced that Walter Beisheim has joined as senior vice president of business development.  An industry veteran with more than 25 years in business development for the telecom and mobile sectors, Beisheim has a successful track record in building and cultivating business among Fortune 500 companies. The appointment comes at a time of high growth for Locaid as it continues to dominate in the mobile location market and ramps up to meet increasing demand among global enterprise businesses.

Prior to joining Locaid, Beisheim served for four years as vice president of business development for Neustar in its Quova division, where he was responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with major partners and enterprise accounts, including Microsoft, Facebook, Google, T-Mobile, Cisco, AT&T, Fox Entertainment and Yellow Pages, among others. Prior to Neustar, he held the position of senior vice president of sales and marketing at Mobile Data Solutions, Inc., the leading provider of mobile workforce management systems for the telecom, utility and cable industries worldwide. Beisheim also previously held senior level positions in business development and sales at IBM, Wang Laboratories, Informix Software, SR Telecom and Digital Microwave Corp.
