MATTESON, Ill., Feb. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Joseph Assignment Global Initiative in collaboration with New Faith Baptist Church International of Matteson, IL, will deliver 65,000 bottles of water on Tuesday to the Citizens of Flint, Michigan in an ongoing effort to provide aid during the current water crisis.
"Clean water is a basic human right," said Rev. Dr. Trunell Felder, Senior Pastor of New Faith Baptist Church International. "We are committed to making sure that the citizens of America in Flint have clean water until our government comes up with a solution."
The Flint Clean Water Campaign launched three weeks ago under the leadership of Dr. Alexis Felder, Founder, CEO and Lead Volunteer of the Joseph Assignment Global Initiative. "The donors and volunteers of The Joseph Assignment Global Initiative are as committed to clean water in Flint, Michigan as they are to children and their families in Africa," she said.
Bottled water donations are being accepted at New Faith Baptist Church International, 25 South Central, Matteson, IL, Tuesday through Thursday 8AM to 8PM, Saturday 8AM to 7PM, and Sunday 8AM to 2PM until further notice.
