Local Consultants Provide Pro Bono Services to Modernize Digital Presence for Give Me A Break From Cancer

RESTON, Va., March 7, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Give Me A Break From Cancer (GMABFC) has released a new modern website, www.gmabfc.org, with pro bono support from consultants in CapTech's DC office. GMABFC is an entirely volunteer-based non-profit that offers young adults with cancer and their caregivers the chance to take a break and get away from treatment by providing localized, fun experiences. The new site features a modern design and improves user experience and engagement with volunteers, donors, fundraisers, and individuals requesting support.

Give Me A Break From Cancer released their new website, www.gmabfc.org, with pro bono support from CapTech's Washington D.C. office. The site features a modern design and an improved user experience for volunteers, donors, fundraisers, and individuals needing support.

GMABFC had a legacy website that was difficult to maintain and did not fully support the organization's needs to grow and scale. Five CapTechers donated over 700-hours to understand the volunteer organization's requirements and develop a modern digital presence that highlight stories from their beneficiaries, promote events, accept online donations, engage volunteers and sponsors, and integrate with social media.
