Locally Invented International Sport Teams With Radio Disney

FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz., Jan. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sabakiball International, LLC (www.Sabakiball.com) will join forces with Radio Disney to offer a fitness area for the Barrett Jackson Auction Family Day on January 15. In attendance will be Michael Cerpok, inventor and owner of Sabakiball, and former Arizona Diamondback and Sabakiball co-owner Scott Hairston. Visitors will throw the official Sabakiball ball, known as Bakiball, at the canary yellow Bakipin to test their competitive speed and agility.

"Our motto is 'Fast. Furious. Fun.' because Sabakiball is a high intensity, non-stop sport," says Cerpok. "It's non-contact and simple to learn so it's safe and enjoyable for children of all ages."

Radio Disney specially chose Sabakiball International along with fitness podcast company Get Fit Pod (www.GetFitPod.com) to present the ultimate in interactive sporting.

Sabakiball has grown in popularity across North America since its creation in 2008 and is now played by nearly 25,000 people in Arizona alone. Developed so players are constantly engaged, there is never a time when a ball is not in play.

Sabakiball's appearance at the Barrett Jackson event is precursor to the State Championships taking place at Tempe High School on January 21. Teams from all over Arizona will face-off to win the coveted championship title. Cerpok and Hairston will attend with proceeds benefitting the non-profit organization Personal Development Center, Inc.
