Customers Using SSO from Identity Management Providers like Google, Microsoft ADFS, and Okta Gain Additional Protection for Log Data
SAN FRANCISCO, May 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Loggly, the company behind the world's most popular cloud-based, enterprise-class log management service, today announced the immediate availability of multi-factor authentication through single sign on (SSO) identity providers such as Google, Microsoft ADFS, Okta, OneLogin, Oracle, Ping Identity, SecureAuth, and Shibboleth. This enables customers to provide DevOps personnel, developers, customer support representatives, and a variety of other users with enhanced security measures to control access to data contained in logs.

With two-factor authentication (2FA) or multi-factor authentication (MFA) in place, Loggly users are granted access to log data only by successfully presenting two or more factors of authentication to their identity provider. Loggly accesses the organization's identity provider via the Loggly federated identity management feature. This feature utilizes Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0 and supports Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). It is available with Loggly Enterprise subscription plans.
