From gene editing breakthroughs to AI-driven drug discovery to epigenetic interventions, this year's Summit explores the radical advances reshaping how we live longer—and better
MIAMI, Sept. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Global Wellness Summit™ (GWS), the premier gathering of leaders in the $6.3 trillion wellness economy, today unveiled the first lineup of high-profile speakers for its 19th annual conference, taking place in Dubai, November 18–21, 2025.
This year's theme—"Longevity Through a Wellness Lens"—spotlights one of the most urgent and fast-moving frontiers in the health and wellness industries: the pursuit of longer, healthier lives. The 2025 Summit will be unique in uniting longevity experts from the wellness, medical and biotech worlds to discuss how an integrative approach could reimagine aging, prevention, and human potential.
Among the newly announced speakers:
- Deepak Srivastava, MD, president of Gladstone Institutes in San Francisco, will share how medicine is entering a new age of cures—with breakthroughs in gene editing and biomedical science poised to eliminate once-incurable diseases like cancer, Alzheimer's, and heart disease.
- Nicole Sirotin, MD, CEO of the Institute for Healthier Living in Abu Dhabi, will highlight the UAE's bold leadership in longevity—backed by policy, infrastructure, and investment—and her work transforming healthcare from reactive treatment to prevention and holistic wellness.
- Isaac Bentwich, MD, founder and CEO of CoreX and Quris-AI (Abu Dhabi), will explore how AI, patient-on-chip technology, and stem cells are revolutionizing pharmaceuticals—cutting development time and costs while enabling personalized medicine.
- Abraham Franklin Silverstein, MD, president and CEO of Grupo Franklin (Mexico), will discuss groundbreaking research in stem cells and regenerative therapies aimed at pushing the limits of human performance and longevity.
- Kenneth R. Pelletier, MD, (US), a pioneer in integrative medicine and longevity for over four decades, will present the latest thinking in how epigenetic interventions can unlock optimal health and extend healthspan.
- Mike Roizen, MD, (US), Cleveland Clinic's first chief wellness officer and creator of the RealAge concept, will share how evidence-based lifestyle changes are the key to redefining age.
- Phil Newman, founder and CEO of Longevity.Technology (UK), will explore how to create a bridge between the latest science and commercialization in longevity innovations.
- Dave Asprey (US), widely known as the "father of biohacking," will bring his entrepreneurial lens to how individuals can extend lifespan and healthspan.
"Just a few years ago, longevity was a niche corner in science and medicine, but now many billions are being spent on research and it's quickly become a global movement transforming wellness, healthcare, hospitality, travel, and more," said Nancy Davis, chief creative officer and executive director of the GWS. "Curating a Summit at this pivotal moment is both a challenge and a thrill. We're gathering some of the world's most influential longevity voices in Dubai—in a region that embodies rapid growth and innovation—to shape the future of how we live longer, healthier, and more vibrant lives. This promises to be one of our most dynamic, future-focused Summits yet."
The Middle East's Gulf Region provides an ideal location for the Summit as the GCC more broadly, and the UAE in particular, is seeing world-leading growth in their overall wellness economies and wellness tourism markets. The event will be held at the brand new Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai.
Dr. Mike Roizen, who is serving as co-chair of this year's Summit and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Global Wellness Institute, said: "As science rapidly expands what we know about aging, the conversation is shifting from just adding years to adding quality years. At this year's Summit, we'll explore how it's the integration of wellness practices with the latest breakthroughs in medicine and biotech that is the future of longevity and healthspan."
In addition to longevity, additional topics to be covered at the Summit include wellness travel, hospitality, beauty, wellness real estate and design, sports, fitness, investing, and more. The GWS will be highlighting additional speakers in the coming weeks, but a list of confirmed speakers can be found on the GWS website here.
