RESTON, Va., Jan. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Information Governance (IG) software company Active Navigation today announced that LORD Corp. has selected the firm to analyze, filter and transform unstructured information used by its employees around the world into the latest generation of Microsoft SharePoint software.  The goal of the project is to improve operations with a collaborative data environment that empowers and informs employees with millions of clean e-files that are up to date and easy to navigate. In the process, Active Navigation will also significantly reduce the data storage footprint and costs by eliminating files that are Redundant, Obsolete or Trivial (ROT™).
