Lourdes Diaz Appointed General Sales Manager for America TeVe (WJAN) and CV48 (WFUN)

MIAMI, Aug. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective immediately Lourdes Diaz will act as General Sales Manager for America TeVe (WJAN) and CV48 (WFUN), the Miami stations owned and operated by America CV Network.  The announcement was made today by Herb Espino, recently promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales for America CV Network.   Diaz will report to Espino and will be responsible for sales of both stations.

"We are delighted to bring Lourdes into our team," said Espino.  "She has comprehensive experience in Sales and Marketing and her contributions will be key to further develop our sales strategy and achieve the goals we have set for WJAN and WFUN", added Espino.  Diaz has a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University where she served as an adjunct professor for the School of Journalism and Mass Communications.  She is currently enrolled in their Global Strategic Communications Master Program.  Additionally, Diaz attended Barry University for undergraduate and graduate studies in Clinical Psychology.

With nearly 30 years of integrated marketing communications and advertising expertise, Diaz has done extensive research, marketing, sales and counseling for major television and radio stations.  Among the media she worked at NBC/Telemundo Station Group, Caracol Colombia's WGEN-TV8, WTVJ-TV4 NBC affiliate (today CBS), WSVN-TV7 FOX affiliate, WQBA-AM & FM, WMXJ-FM, COMCAST, and Time Warner/AOL.
