Love's Travel Stops to Host First National Hiring Day on Feb. 28
Nationwide Love's Truck Tire Care Centers and Speedco Locations to Hire More Than 1,200 Tire Technicians and Diesel Mechanics During One-Day Event
OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Love's Travel Stops (Love's), the nation's industry-leading travel stop network, is seeking to hire more than 1,200 new employees for full-time and part-time roles as tire technicians, mechanic apprentices and diesel mechanics at its one-day hiring event on Feb. 28 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. at more than 350 Love's Truck Tire Care or Speedco locations across the U.S. during the company's first National Hiring Day.

Love's prestigious mechanic apprenticeship program allows apprentices to earn a competitive wage while working toward the designation of a diesel mechanic. Upon successful completion of the apprentice program, they will receive a tool kit valued at $3,500, which is theirs to keep. Newly hired diesel mechanics will start between $22 – $27 an hour.
Applicants interested in full-time or part-time positions can visit any Love's Truck Tire Care or Speedco location on Feb. 28 and be interviewed on-site while learning more about working at Love's. Qualified candidates can be offered jobs on the spot contingent upon pre-screening requirements.
Candidates should bring copies of their résumé and expect to submit to a drug screen and background check contingent upon offer.
