Lovesac and Habitat for Humanity Partner to Bring Total Comfort to Communities Nationwide

Rooted in a shared commitment to sustainability and community, the partnership combines product donations, hands-on volunteer efforts, and innovative furniture solutions to help families create stable, comfortable homes  

STAMFORD, Conn., Feb. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Lovesac Company, the technology driven company that designs, manufactures, and sells unique, high-quality furniture derived through its proprietary "Designed for Life" approach, is proud to announce a partnership with Habitat for Humanity, the global housing nonprofit organization dedicated to building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Together, the two organizations aim to make a lasting impact on families by providing sustainable comfort solutions for their homes at an accessible price point.  

To date, and prior to penning this collaboration, Lovesac has proudly donated more than $600,000 worth of Sactionals and Sacs to Habitat, supporting affordable housing projects and creating change in communities nationwide. These contributions are sold through Habitat's 900+ ReStores. Habitat ReStores are independently owned home improvement stores operated by local Habitat organizations, where items are sold at a discounted rate and help fund local housing initiatives. This year, Lovesac is committing to donating a minimum of $150,000 in products, furthering its dedication to sustainability and community support.

To kick the partnership off, both Habitat for Humanity and Lovesac are working together to provide relief in disaster impacted communities, including North Carolina following Hurricane Helene, and Los Angeles in response to the recent wildfires. Lovesac has pledged to donate more than $400,000 in product to Habitat ReStores located in Los Angeles and in North Carolina to support long-term disaster recovery efforts.

Lovesac's nearly 2,000 employees will also embrace the partnership through active participation in select Volunteer Build Days throughout the year, helping construct and refurbish homes alongside local Habitat affiliates. Lovesac showrooms will further enhance these efforts by collaborating with local Habitat ReStores through donations and volunteer opportunities, deepening their impact within the communities they serve.
