LTL Welcomes Partner David Ammons and Four New Attorneys

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- LTL Attorneys LLP (LTL) is proud to welcome new partner David Ammons and four other attorneys to its Los Angeles Office.

DAVID W. AMMONS 

David has joined LTL as a partner in the firm's commercial litigation and employment defense groups.  He brings impressive trial experience, having first- chaired 23 jury trials to verdict.

Prior to LTL, David served as Deputy City Attorney for the city of San Francisco, where he handled all facets of commercial and employment claims.  A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, David started his career at Baker & Hostetler and was also associated with Manatt Phelps and Schiff Hardin before joining the City Attorney's Office.

MICHAEL J. SONG - Senior Counsel

Michael has joined LTL's patent litigation group. Michael served as counsel at Perkins Coie, and as an associate at Foley and Lardner.  He earned his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law, his M.S. in Biomedical Chemistry from Thomas Jefferson University, and his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

ALEX HU – Associate

Alex has joined LTL as an associate in the firm's intellectual property and complex commercial litigation groups.  Most recently, he clerked for Hon. Charlene Honeywell, of the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida.  Prior to his clerkship, Alex served at Quinn Emanuel and Davis Polk as a litigation associate.  He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.S. in Biological & Environmental Engineering, with a minor in Mechanical Engineering, from Cornell University.

THY BUI – Associate

Thy has joined LTL as a senior associate in the firm's employment litigation group.  Thy served for six years as a litigation associate at Crowell & Moring.  She earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School and her Master of Laws from the London School of Economics.

MICHAEL AUGUSTIN - Associate

Michael has joined LTL as an associate in the commercial litigation group, after having completed his clerkship for Hon. André Birotte Jr. of the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.  He earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law and is admitted to practice in Georgia.
