Lucien Lagrange Joins VOA Associates

CHICAGO, Aug. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- VOA Associates Incorporated, an international architectural design firm, today announced that Lucien Lagrange is joining the firm as a Lead Designer in VOA's Luxury Residential, Hospitality and Commercial Mixed-Use markets.  

Lucien Lagrange's internationally acclaimed designs for contemporary high-rise skyscrapers, elegant, mixed-use commercial structures and sophisticated renovations have secured his legacy as one of the most respected architects of his generation.  Lagrange has designed some of the most impressive hotels, offices and condominiums in Chicago, with notable, award-winning projects including 65 East Goethe, The Elysian Hotel Chicago and the adaptive reuse of the Blackstone and 208 South LaSalle.

VOA's wide-ranging architecture and design portfolio will now include Lagrange's extensive experience in high-end rise residential, hospitality, historical preservation and adaptive reuse assignments. Current projects include design for the Ritz-Carlton Residences and 2520 (Chicago) and The Touraine residential tower (New York).

Beginning in 1985, Lucien Lagrange Architects produced designs that embraced the excitement of 21st-century modernism and the aesthetic of classic architecture. Prior to starting his own firm, Lagrange was Senior Designer at Skidmore Owings & Merrill.
