TOANO, Va., Jan. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lumber Liquidators (NYSE: LL), the largest specialty retailer of hardwood flooring in North America, supported 60 causes through its Lay It Forward philanthropic program in 2014. The Company donated nearly $200,000 in cash and product to advance its mission of improving communities and homes for generations to come – a vision that also drives the enduring quality and sustainability of Lumber Liquidators' products.
Installing a hardwood floor is an investment. It grows in character as an element of a home's beauty and can last a lifetime. By supporting the Lay It Forward program today, Lumber Liquidators believes its charitable investment will have a similar and lasting impact.
Robert M. Lynch, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented: "Giving back to the communities we serve has been a core tenet of Lumber Liquidators since our founding more than 20 years ago. I'm proud of how our Lay It Forward initiative reflects not just the generous spirit of our employees but also the quality of our products."
