Luxe Launches Drive Home Service In Eight Chicago Neighborhoods

SAN FRANCISCO, July 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The leading on-demand valet service app Luxe today announces that Drive Home, the newest service option available, will launch in Chicago on Friday, July 17 and will be available on Friday and Saturday nights. This groundbreaking program offers customers a valet to drive them home safely in their own cars after an evening out.  Drive Home began piloting in San Francisco in June and has since expanded to Chicago and Seattle.

The service is one of the first of its kind to be fully covered under the company's $5M insurance policy for valets, drivers and cars. Luxe is also proud to announce that Drive Home launches in partnership with Mothers Against Drunk Driving^® (MADD), where $1 from every ride will be donated to the cause.

Luxe has recently expanded to three more neighborhoods in northern Chicago - Lakeview, Lincoln Park and Wrigleyville. Service hours in these areas are Monday - Thursday from 12p.m. to 10p.m.; Friday from 12p.m. to 12a.m.; Saturday from 10a.m. to 12a.m.; and Sunday from 10a.m. to 7p.m.

Luxe is also available downtown in the Loop, West Loop, Streeterville, River North and Gold Coast neighborhoods.  Currently, the service is available Monday - Thursday from 7a.m. to 10p.m.; Friday from 7a.m. to 11p.m.; Saturday from 10a.m. to 11p.m.; and Sunday from 10a.m. to 7p.m.

Users can choose the Drive Home option via the app's additional services menu at a cost of $25 plus an additional $3 per mile (25 mile cap). Once requested, the Customer Delight team will contact the user for the destination and return time. A valet will pick up the driver in their own vehicle and drive them safely back to their chosen destination before parking their car in the driveway and handing them their keys. Luxe will be launching in four additional cities by September 2015 - New York, Austin, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. - making Luxe available in nine cities across the U.S.
