FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Fort Lauderdale-based luxury yacht brokerage firm 26 North Yachts recently announced the hiring of seasoned business professional Lisa Borkowski as Director of Administration. Borkowski will join a talented team of innovative, forward-driving individuals making big waves in the yachting industry.

Borkowski, with her husband Lee, owned ASAP Marine Documentation & Registration, Inc. for over seven years before selling. Prior to ASAP, Borkowski enjoyed a successful career as a Certified Meeting Planner. Borkowski and her husband currently own the exclusive distributorship in Florida for the world's first automatic touch screen cocktail bar (Bar Logistics).

Borkowski has more than a decade of experience in the marine industry, more than 10,000 closings behind her and contacts around the globe.  From many years, she was a co-sponsor and featured educational seminar speaker on "Listing to Closing" at the annual Florida Yacht Brokers Association's meeting.  She was also featured in "Yachting 101: Tender & Toy Registration in the US" written by Kelly Sanford in Boat International USA (January 2008).
