Jonathan Pertchik, Peter Crage and Stephen J. Girsky bring travel center leadership, financial experience and public company perspective to the board.
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- LV Petroleum LLC has welcomed Jonathan "Jon" Pertchik as Chairman of the Board and Peter Crage and Stephen J. Girsky as members of its Board of Directors. Together, they bring experience leading travel centers, guiding companies through change, and building financial and organizational foundations for growth.
Pertchik, the former CEO of TravelCenters of America (TA), has known LV Petroleum's founders since the early years of the company's growth. At TA, he led a period of transformation as CEO of a publicly traded company. His familiarity with the travel center business and its leadership demands will help guide LV Petroleum as it builds on the foundation established by founders Guy Madmon and Val Amiel.
Crage, the former CFO of TA, brings decades of experience in consumer-facing businesses. At TA, he helped the company navigate a demanding period that included the pandemic and significant economic disruption. He joins the board with a focus on offering financial guidance and serving as a sounding board for LV Petroleum's management team as the company grows.
Girsky brings more than 35 years of experience as a senior executive, investor, analyst and public company director. He is Managing Partner of VectoIQ, an investment and advisory firm focused on the automotive, industrial technology and mobility sectors. His career includes serving as Vice Chairman of General Motors, where his responsibilities spanned corporate strategy, business development, product planning and global purchasing and supply chain. He will bring experience in capital allocation, governance and business transformation to LV Petroleum's board.
"Jon, Peter and Stephen each bring a perspective that will make us stronger," said Kris Roach, CEO of LV Petroleum (proposed quote pending approval). "Jon understands what it takes to lead in the travel center industry. Peter brings financial discipline and a deep understanding of the businesses that serve people on the move. Stephen has helped major companies navigate growth and change. Their combined experience will help us make thoughtful decisions as we build for the years ahead."
The three board members' backgrounds span the day-to-day realities of operating travel centers, the financial demands of a growing business, and the broader changes shaping transportation. Their appointments add experienced voices to LV Petroleum's leadership as it continues to serve travelers, professional drivers and communities across its expanding network. "My goal is to build a team known for its communication, reliability and customer-first mindset while creating safe working environments and delivering the best finished product we can provide." (quote from Kris)
