User Choice Drives BYOD Adoption
Historically, MACOM issued employees corporate-owned BlackBerry devices but employees began requesting the latest smartphones for work. To improve productivity by giving employees the ability to choose their own devices, MACOM migrated to a new mobile IT model that now supports both iOS and Android devices. Today, about 25% of the devices MACOM manages are employee-owned, which includes a mix of iPhones, iPads, and Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
