MA Managed Futures Fund Hedges PR Investment With TransMedia Group for Higher Return on Publicity
BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec.12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The international public relations firm TransMedia Group, said it was retained by MA Managed Futures Fund (www.mafuturesfund.com) to publicize the firm's unprecedented egalitarian approach to hedge fund investing.
TransMedia (www.transmediagroup.com) said publicity will focus on MA Managed Futures Fund providing for the first time access by average investors to an investment category until now only available to the wealthiest investors.
"Hedge funds have long been the exclusive province of the wealthiest and most privileged classes, but now MA Managed Futures Fund (MAMF) is going to level the field so average investors can access managed futures, a category that typically yields high returns," said TransMedia CEO Tom Madden.
"We are going to make it widely known that now 'every man' can access higher rates of return typically attainable by investing in a hedge fund," he said, as these funds are able to invest in a wider range of assets and employ in micro-seconds sophisticated buy/sell strategies traditionally unavailable through mutual funds except in only a very limited way.
TransMedia will position hedge fund industry icon Monty Agarwal, Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer, as the go-to expert in the evolving managed futures industry. Agarwal authored the best-selling book The Future of Hedge Fund Investing, one of only 50 books on finance in the world selected for translation and distribution throughout China.
"My colleagues and I are former insiders who have abandoned the concept that only the wealthiest investors can access investing in managed futures. We retained TransMedia to brand us as 'anti-establishment' as we reject the 'good ole boys club' that has prevented the average investor from taking advantage of powerful strategies. Our fund is made for the rapidly changing financial climate in which investors are looking for stable opportunities with high rates of return," said Agarwal.
"The term 'hedge funds' has long had a negative connotation associated with it, and our publicity will shine a positive light on this once opaque financial sector. Our campaign will present Monty as the fresh, new face of hedge funds," said TransMedia's Director of PR, Allison McCormick.
Headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, FL , MA Managed Futures Fund will be open to individuals with a minimum investment of $5,000, which investors can redeem without lock-ups or penalty and charges a one percent management fee.
