MAACO® Center Celebrates One Year Anniversary In Puerto Rico

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MAACO®, part of the Driven Brands family of automotive companies, today celebrates the one-year anniversary of its Collision Repair & Auto Painting center in Carolina, Puerto Rico. 

The Carolina MAACO® is currently one of three centers in Puerto Rico.  As the brand's most recent market entry, the center has been welcomed to the marketplace with open arms and experienced strong sales since lifting its first bay door last fall.  Since then, MAACO® has painted more than 500 cars and experienced 53 percent sales growth year-to-year.  According to MAACO® leadership, this is only the beginning of the brand's expansion in Latin America.

The Carolina MAACO® is one of two centers owned and operated by franchisee Jaime Mayorga. His first center is located in Toa Baja. His future plans include expanding the business with additional sites in Puerto Rico. A third franchise center operates in Ponce.
