MachNation Releases IoT Edge ScoreCard for 2019, a Review of 17 IoT Edge Vendors' Capabilities

BOSTON, Feb. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- MachNation announces the availability of its IoT Edge ScoreCard for 2019, a detailed rating of 17 Internet of Things (IoT) edge platform vendors.

"MachNation's second annual IoT Edge ScoreCard is the industry's most thorough review of IoT edge platforms," said Steve Hilton, MachNation president and analyst. "Enterprises must understand these platforms' strengths and weaknesses, because we estimate that more than 75% of all industrial IoT deployments use edge capabilities."

MachNation's ScoreCard contains several graphics to help clarify the strengths of IoT edge platform vendors' solutions. The ScoreCard ranks vendors using 17 detailed technical and business criteria.

MachNation's 2019 IoT Edge ScoreCard contains analysis of the following vendors: ADLINK, Amazon, Bosch, ClearBlade, Crosser, Eurotech, FogHorn Systems, Interactor, Litmus Automation, Microsoft, Nymea, Rigado, Siemens, Software AG, SWIM, Telit, and Wicastr.

To assist engineering, product, and software development teams, MachNation evaluates many of these same IoT platforms in its hands-on IoT platform test lab called MIT-E.
