AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Mack, Jack & McConaughey (MJ&M), the joint fundraising effort of ESPN analyst and legendary football coach Mack Brown, ACM award-winning recording artist Jack Ingram and Academy Award®-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, announces today that Grammy award-winning, Vanner Records/Sony Nashville recording artist, Miranda Lambert will headline its gala night on Thursday, April 20, 2017 with Jack Ingram opening as part of MJ&M's two-day event in Austin, Texas. Texas native Miranda Lambert is the reigning ACM Female Vocalist of the Year, having been bestowed the honor for seven consecutive years. Her recognitions include two Grammy Awards, 13 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, and 25 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards as well as many other accolades. Miranda released her most recent effort, a double album titled The Weight of These Wings in November 2016, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart.

This spring marks the 5th year of the Mack, Jack & McConaughey event. Every year thousands of guests enjoy two full days of events, all benefitting charities working to empower kids through health, wellness and education programming.

On Friday, April 21, MJ&M will continue with a golf tournament at Spanish Oaks Golf Club. Simultaneously, MJ&M will host a fashion show and luncheon chaired by Lifestyle expert and co-founder of Yummy Spoonfuls Camila Alves McConaughey. Friday wraps up with the Jack & Friends concert at ACL.

Funds raised at MJ&M 2017 will support CureDuchenne, Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, HeartGift, just keep livin Foundation and The Rise School of Austin.
