Made Focuses on the Gig Economy with New TaxAct Campaign
Agency launches multichannel campaign to help this new workforce navigate the tax system.
BOULDER, Colo., Jan. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Made, a marketing agency specializing in brand transformation, partnered with TaxAct to launch this season's tax campaign. The campaign focuses on the rapidly growing gig economy.
In 2017, the gig/freelance economy accounted for an estimated 34% of American jobs, and that's expected to grow to 43% by 2020. Despite this growth, this workforce has been largely ignored by the online tax industry, leaving these workers concerned that they're getting it wrong or missing out on opportunities to maximize their refund.
While the big players have focused on the traditional workforce, TaxAct is celebrating gig workers with four new TV spots from Made that highlight the gig/freelance economy and the tools TaxAct has developed to help these workers feel confident while filing. Featuring the Deduction Maximizer and $100K Accuracy Guarantee, the spots celebrate the growing suite of TaxAct tools designed to help gig workers.
