Madison International Realty Appoints Todd D. Silverman Managing Director

NEW YORK, June 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Madison International Realty, a leading real estate private equity firm, announced it has appointed Todd D. Silverman, a former Tishman Speyer executive, as Managing Director of Equity Capital Markets.  In his new position, Silverman will continue to develop and execute Madison's successful fund-raising strategy and serve as liaison with the investor community.

Silverman joins Madison after a six-year tenure with Tishman Speyer, where he most recently held the position of Managing Director and Head of Global Business Development and Global Leasing, and Relationship Manager for Equity Capital Markets.  He previously served as Director of New York Leasing and as an Associate for New York Acquisitions and Asset Management.

"Todd brings to Madison a sophisticated skill set in addition to specific knowledge of the equity capital markets.  He will continue to build and enhance relationships with our current roster of blue-chip institutional investors, as well as cultivate the expansion of our investor base," said Ronald M. Silverman is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and earned an MBA at Columbia University's Graduate School of Business.  He is a member of REBNY.

Earlier this year, Madison announced the final closing of its latest fund, Real Estate Liquidity Fund IV, with $510 million of equity commitments, exceeding its $400 million target.
