Of the survey respondents, 74 percent said they feel more confident when wearing shapewear.
While, 88 percent said confident women are more likely to receive a job promotion. What a woman wears underneath is just as important as her "dress for success" outerwear.
In Addition, of the more than 1,000 women asked about shapewear and the workplace:
- 72% of women feel they are taken more seriously when they look their best
- 44% of people feel that confidence is a key factor they look for in a new hire
- 52% are worried about "tummy bulge"
- 95% admit to owning clothes that don't fit properly
- 43% of all women try on more than one outfit each day
