Make No Mistake, This Scott Tucker is Focused on Track Records
MADISON, Wis., Feb. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The news out of Australia seemed to set the internet ablaze. Scott Tucker, of Grafton, New South Wales, saw the story of his fire-breathing skills race across the wires.
Half a world way, Scott Tucker, of Leawood, Kansas, (no relation) had a chuckle. The five-time national racing champion caught word of the efforts of the man who shares his name and took an interest in the story.
"Someone ran across the story on-line," Tucker of Kansas said. "We got a kick out of the coincidence with the names and had some fun reading about this man's efforts to get into the Guinness Book of World Records."
The Australian Tucker is the 21-year-old director of Ablaze Pyro Productions and he is in pursuit of world records for fire-breathing. With an ability to send fire a reported 25 to 30 feet in the air, he is hoping his skills land him a record and secure him some business for his pyrotechnics company.
"I have been fortunate enough to set a few records on race tracks," the racing champion Tucker said. "I'll stick to driving, but I certainly wish Scott luck as he attempts to set his record!"
