On May 7, 2014, AMERCO announced that the financial strength rating of its subsidiary, Oxford Life Insurance Company, has been upgraded from B++ (Good) to A- (Excellent) and its issuer credit ratings has been upgraded from "bbb+" to "a-" by the world's oldest and most authoritative insurance rating and information source, A.M. Best. AMERCO informed that the rating also applies to its subsidiary, Christian Fidelity Life Insurance Company. In addition, A.M.
