Manduka To Host Marquee project:OM Yoga Event At Maggie Daley Park Benefiting Susan G. Komen

WHO:     

Manduka, Susan G. Komen, Maura Daley (niece of Maggie Daley), Chicago Yoga Instructor Jenna Reddington, and citizens of Chicago.

WHAT:   

Project:OM by Manduka is hosting a marquee outdoor yoga class in Chicago at Maggie Daley Park, named after the former first lady of Chicago who lost her battle to breast cancer, as part of the One Million men and women coming together in nearly 800 yoga events nationwide to do yoga on Mother's Day weekend in the world's largest yoga event ever, in support of Susan G. Komen's fight against breast cancer.

For a suggested donation of at least $10, participants can come take the class to warm up for the following day's race, Susan G. Komen Chicagoland's Mother's Day Race for the Cure.

Maggie Daley's niece Maura Daley will share remarks in honor of her immediately before the class begins. Maura is a Chicago resident and Ashtanga yoga teacher. She has been practicing on Manduka yoga mats for 17 years.

There are more than 700 project:OM events including 6 additional events throughout Illinois and the Chicago area. Anyone and everyone is invited to participate (select events listed below) to support Susan G. Komen and engage in this healthy activity. One hundred percent of donations generated from project:OM classes will benefit Susan G. Komen's bold goal to reduce breast cancer deaths by 50 percent in the U.S. by 2026.
